Lighting the Menorah

Yesterday evening we went to our friends' house to light the menorah for Chanukah. This was the first time for both Kyle and John. When we lit the candles, Rachael (Kyle's 2 year old friend) was very excited and Kyle kept pointing out the colors of the candles.
Afterwards we ate way too many latkes and beet borscht. Mmmmm, brings back my childhood in Brooklyn. And of course, we played with dreidels. Kyle liked watching me spin the wooden ones, but we was quite perplexed by the stuffed, soft one that Rachael had. He kept asking me if it was a football...
