It is possible to get obscure products from far away places quickly and easily!
A few days ago, five to be exact, I ordered some beautiful new Go stones and bowls from a manufacturer in Japan. I did it on their web site, 11pm Thursday night (3pm Friday, Japan time). I had a few e-mail exchanges with someone at the company on Friday (Saturday in Japan) regarding shipping charges. They arrived yesterday morning (Tuesday, before 11am).
While I realize I paid a premium for air-shipping, it wasn't that much. I'm in awe of how small we've made the world, and how accessible are its treasures.
