Toyota Parts |
Order these from the parts department of your local Toyota dealer. These
prices are approximate.
- Cruise Control Switch, part number 84630-47010, $116
- Stop Switch Assembly, part number 84340-32070, $46

Hardware |
- Two 5/8" aluminum screw posts with screws
- Two 3/8" x .17 x 1/2" Nylon spacers (buy a few extra, they're cheap)
- One self tapping machine screw 10-24 x 1/2"

Tools |
- Dremel type hobby tool with rotary file tip and circular cutting
disc
- Steering wheel puller kit: ours was from Kragen (a.k.a. Checker or
Schucks), $7.98
- #30 Torx driver or bit
- Socket set with 10mm & 19mm sockets
- Sharp hobby knife
- Small screwdriver
- 14mm crows-foot wrench, (or a very small handled C-wrench) -- needed
if you are going change the brake swtich yourself

Time |
Once we had the tools and parts it took us about 4 hours to do the installation.
The install on the second Prius would have gone much faster, only we were
making this web site as we did it!
